Ecology is partnering with the Departments of Agriculture, Commerce, Fish and Wildlife, Natural Resources, and Transportation to host two public meetings in Lacey and Wenatchee. The purpose of the meetings is to gather input on the development of the state's integrated climate change response strategy, provide an overview of the strategy framework, and provide background on the need for such a strategy for Washington State. Fairhaven Shipyard is renewing their NPDES wastewater permit no. WA-003134-8 for the discharge of drydock and submersible barge floodwater and overflow water into Bellingham Bay. The permit also allows the discharge of stormwater, hydroblast water, and pressure washwater to the City of Bellingham Wastewater Treatment Plant.
