Introduction

The Environmental Permit Handbook is a website developed by the Department of Ecology (Ecology) that contains information about local, state and Federal environmental permits, approvals, or licenses for Washington State in a handbook like format.

The Governor's Office of Regulatory Assistance (ORA) works with Ecology to update the permit entries on a regular basis so the most current information will always be available to you.
